Sweetly Sweet Customers {Winnie the Pooh by Monica}

I had lost contact with one of my high school friends, Monica and she found me on Etsy! This world is so small! She fell in love with my pop-up invitations and asked me to create a pop-up invitation to go with a Winnie the Pooh theme for a little boy, I created this invitation as you may remember.

Well my friend Monica sent me the pics of her son's first birthday some time ago and I wanted to share them with you. I would loved to be there, it all looked wonderful!

Just how cute is that birthday cake! Take care everyone and make sure to share this with your Facebook friends!

New Pop-up Invitation Design: {Sweet Hunny Collection}

A friend of mine found me on Etsy and fell in love with my designs! Although I am on a break, I decided to create a pop-up invitation for her baby boy first birthday. The birthday has a Winnie the Pooh theme, so I created a bee-hunny related theme... hunny like Pooh spell it! I created the invitation with the form of a bee hive with happy bees inside and of course hunny at the top! I drew everything, including the bee and hunny pot myself in AI! This collection will be available on my Etsy Shop soon! Now enjoy the pics I took from my creation.

What do you think? Is this the cutest bee hive you have ever seen?

Featured Again! {Birthday Girl}

I am doing those leaps of joy again! One of my favorite party girls Becca from Birthday Girl just featured Lorelys Maia's Cupcake Birthday Party!!!  Please take a moment to go to her wonderful blog and leave a comment on my feature ;) If you are not her follower yet, please become one, her blog is full of yummy inspiration and you will find yourself going back often!

Becca said that she was saving this birthday party as a fun start to the new year. Awww, thank you for the sweet words! She also said something that I haven't said yet on my blog and it is that Lorelys was a miracle baby because the doctors said I was infertile... but God had other plans for me and now I have this toddler running around my house!!! Thank you Birthday Girl!

Now I can grab her button... and put it on my side bar... keep them coming!

The goods for this party are available at my Etsy Shop!

New on my Etsy Shop: {Pop-up Cupcake Invitation Assembly Instructions}

At last, I got the instructions for the assembly of my Pop-up Cupcake Invitations ready on my Etsy shop! I finally got the pics I wanted, and had some non crafty friends try them to make sure everyone will be able to follow them. These invitations are easy to do, a little bit time consuming, but the results are spectacular!

This invitations got a lot of attention when they got featured at The Tomkat Studio, a great blog about all things party. Thank you all for being patient and waiting for this file, I made it carefully with lots of love. I will keep adding my collections on Etsy this week, God willing!

DIY Christmas Pop-up Cards

Christmas is just around the corner, and here are the cards I made for the occasion. I used a pattern similar to that of the Wedding Cake Pop-up Cards for the pop-up, combined to the circles I used for the Cupcake Birthday Invitations, and I went to Shutterstock and Etsy to find a modern color pattern. The design is three gifts stacked on top of the other with a modern bow on top and lots of cirlces, I designed everything myself in Ai.  This cute card will most definitely be displayed by the lucky receiver.

 This is a little banner-thing I made to practice for when I have my Etsy Shop! What do you think?

This is the card, it measures 8.5 x 5.5 inches.

This is the pop-up part, look very closely and notice that it is lined on the inside with a matching stripes and circles pattern.

I added a paper ribbon to the outside, it closes itself with the included Sweet Circles by Sweetly Sweet, so no need for an envelope.

This is the other side.

And the best part... I will have my first giveaway soon!!! Stay tuned because I will send the PDF file of this cute DIY Christmas Pop-up Cards (Personal use only) to one lucky winner.  But first, I have to do the DIY instructions, which will take me some time, because I want to do a well done tutorial. I will host the giveaway in the following weeks!!!

Wedding Cake Pop Up Card DIY Templates

I have received LOTS of request for a template to do my Wedding Cake Pop Up Card and here it is!!!  This is my first attempt at a template with instructions, so I hope you like it.  It is a PDF of a generic Bride/Groom card, and it has the instructions on how to make the card pop out. I also included the outside of the card and some circles that you can use to embellish the envelope, add a little note to the invitation, use as a cute tag, and so on. If you download it please leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Well, I need to learn how to do multiple page PDF files from Adobe Illustrator! I will be working on the DIY template for my Cupcake Birthday Invitation and my Treat Box and Cupcake Toppers! They will be available soon at my Etsy Shop (I don't have one yet, but I am in the process!!!).

Note: If you want to put this in your blog, please link to the original post on my blog and not directly to the PDF file. For personal use only. Enjoy!

I was featured at The TomKat Studio!

This is one of those moments where I go to the middle of the living room and start jumping up and down like crazy!!! Kim, from The TomKat Studio, who has been a great source of inspiration for me, made a mention of my Cupcake Birthday Invitations and my Treat box and Cupcake Toppers on her blog.  View the wonderful post here and while you are there visit her etsy shop, she has the cutest party things. This post has gotten me a lot of new blog friends and sweet comments! Thank you Kim!

This has given me enough confidence and I am thinking about opening an etsy shop in the future and help with the cost of my studies. I am also trying to keep track of the new followers, but some don't have links! So if you are following and have a blog, but don't have the link, I would love to visit you back, so please leave a comment with your link.

Wedding Cake Pop Up Card

I needed a wedding greeting card and I came up with this Pop Up Wedding Cake card.  I think it came out wonderful! I also made a little money holder going the theme because the couple requested gifts in cash.  If anyone is interested in a generic Bride/Groom card, please leave a comment and I will make a  freebie PDF file.
